Project-Based Learning

PBL "gets these kids excited about a subject both inside and outside of school. There's actually a visible hunger to learn." Ingo Schiller, Parent

The Project Approach is an instructional strategy that challenges students to discover answers to their questions through real world investigations.

The project is guided by the questions students ask about a particular topic.
The topic involves a real phenomenon that students can investigate directly.
Students make choices about the activities they will engage in to answer questions.
Work on the project happens over an extended period of time.
Curriculum objectives are met in an integrated way.

How do I do it? What does it look like? How do I assess? How can I learn more? What is it?
